College Structures:
A system of local Regional Branches, provide a meeting point and forum for College members who plan Branch activities to meet their own particular needs. Each Region elects a representative to serve on the CHCC National Professional Committee (NPC).

The NPC meets twice each year, where the Regional Representative presents members' interests and reports to the Annual General Meeting of the College. It also acts as an initiator making recommendations to the membership and generally co-ordinates the ongoing life of the College through its structures.

The CHCC NPC works through the following sub-groups in order to further the work of the College:
Executive Committee
Professional Interests Group
Professional Registration Group (together with AHPCC and SACH)

The College has representation on or sends observers to meetings of: Association of Palliative Care and Hospice Chaplains; Scottish Association of Chaplains in Healthcare; Multi Faith Group for Healthcare Chaplaincy; Hospital Chaplaincies Council; Roman Catholic Bishops Advisors Conference; Free Church Council Health Care Board; Churches Committee for Health Care Chaplaincy.

The College Registrar, CHCC/amicus Liaison Officer, the President, Treasurer and other NPC members welcome personal contact from members and are committed to responding to requests from members for help and information.

College Communications are facilitated by:
Production and issue of the Journal of Healthcare Chaplaincy including an Annual Study Course edition. Contributions are welcomed from members and others.

Circulation to members of details of forthcoming training and other activities. Regular meetings between College Officers and representatives of UK bodies concerned with healthcare chaplaincy and other health professions in the amicus health sector.

Links with International Chaplaincy bodies including membership of the European Network for Health Care Chaplaincy.
