The College of Health Care Chaplains

The CHCC is a multi-faith, interdenominational professional organisation membership of which is open to recognised health care chaplaincy staff, both paid and voluntary, and to those with an interest in health care chaplaincy.

Subscription Rates from January 1st 2007

There are three rates of annual subscription:

Full-Time Chaplains and Chaplains Assistants

£119.40 per annum
Part-Time Full Member (those providing or helping to provide direct chaplaincy services, paid or unpaid)

£69.36 per annum
Associate Members (those with an interest in chaplaincy, but who are not engaged in direct chaplaincy services)

£30.00 per annum
Retired Members (Retired chaplains who are not actively involved in any way, but who wish to maintain a contact and interest)

£10.00 per annum
Payment may be made by cheque or direct debit. In the case of Full-Time Chaplains, Direct Debit payments may be made monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annually.

Whole-Time and Part-Time chaplaincy workers receive Full membership privileges, including free receipt of all CHCC documentation, opportunities to participate in training and local events, and the full range of employment services, including professional indemnity insurance.

Retired members are all those who are in receipt of a pension and are retired from Chaplaincy work (whether this was paid, honorary or voluntary). This category is only for those who have fully retired and have no current work, paid or unpaid, in chaplaincy.

Those not involved directly in chaplaincy (paid or unpaid) are regarded as Associate members. Associate and Retired members receive all membership privileges, with the exception of professional indemnity insurance and related employment benefits.

Should any member, of whatever subscription rate, wish to be contracted into the Political Fund, this will cost £4.68 per annum in addition to the annual subscription rate.
