About CHCC and Reports

CHCC is a multi-faith, interdenominational professional organisation membership of which is open to recognised health care chaplaincy staff, both paid and voluntary, and to those with an interest in health care chaplaincy.

The College was formed in 1992 by the amalgamation of the Hospital Chaplains' Fellowship and the National Association of Whole Time Hospital Chaplains. In 1997 the College joined with the Manufacturing, Science and Finance Union (MSF) and then became a professional section within the amicus trade union. Thus the College has a corporate identity and a high degree of autonomy while having the strength of amicus to give additional support to the College and its members when needed.
